South Africa: what a disappointment!
BORDEAUX – South Africa’s dream ends because of a match to forget, tainted by two penalties scandalously granted by the Chilean Sanchez to Arabia.
In any case, Bafana Bafana were not up, and the draw (2-2) becomes almost a lucky result, obtained thanks to a penalty with expired time. Bartlett goes straight from the left, from an angled left-footed shot from Amin to a misalignment of goalkeeper Al-Deayea. Al-Jaber wakes up in post-Parreira Arabia (the new coach is Al-Kharashi): he scares South Africa twice, then turns a penalty, perhaps given, for foul on Issa’s Al-Thyniyan. The author of the two authorities with France is whistled another dubious rigor: beats Al-Thyniyan. But South Africa is saved: Bartlett does not miss the last penalty.
