The Germans do not like the euro

BERLIN – Despite the recent recovery of the euro on international markets, in Germany 63 per cent of the population remains contrary to the single European currency: this is in fact a survey published by the newspaper “Bild”. With less than a year to go into circulation, many are still perplexed. In fact, the survey – conducted by the public opinion institute Dimap – showed that only 31 percent of Germans have full confidence in the euro and in the potential offered by the single currency.
