New clashes in the Gaza Strip
Killed two members of Fatah, six injured
GAZA – Despite the new agreement between Hamas and Fatah for a total ceasefire, last night there were other clashes in the Gaza Strip, which caused the death of two Palestinians and wounded six. The news was given by health sources.
A Fatah spokesman said the two people were members of Palestinian President Abu Mazen’s lineup. The shootings between the two rival groups continued for several hours.
Dozens of armed men continue to patrol the streets of the city of Gaza this morning. According to various witnesses, none of the road blocks erected in recent days have been removed, contrary to what was established in the agreement for the ceasefire officially entered into force yesterday evening.
