Eight murdered fans

SAINT PAUL – A strangled joy. Palmeiras returns to win a trophy after four years – the last one was the Paulistao of 2008 – but it has to deal with madness; the celebrations for the triumph in the Brazilian Cup are tainted by the delirium of an armed commando, who shoots at the fans killing eight and wounding a ninth.
