He had escaped capture twice, the men of the Scampia commissariat arrested him in Castel Volturno (Caserta). Another escape on April 5, when Ruffo, intercepted by an agent free from duty in Cardito, managed to disappear after hitting the policeman causing him slight injuries. Today the arrest in Castel Volturno, Pineta Mare, where the man was hiding in a house in via delle Camelie. Ruffo, an expert in car theft, hid various electronic control units in the house for the removal of cars equipped with coded alarm systems and tools aimed at burglary.
