New York Times to Hispanics: “Register to vote Clinton against Trump”
NEW YORK – 36 days after the presidential elections, New York Times, already lined up with Hillary Clinton, will publish a double editorial, in English and Spanish, to urge Latinos to go and vote to defeat the “bully” Donald Trump and make their weight in American society.
The NYT, of which the Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim is the largest shareholder, remembers in the piece all the Trump shots against the Latinos starting from the promise to build a wall along the border with Mexico to keep out the Mexicans and other minorities.
“The 56 million Latinos, a third of whom are minors, are helping to shape future America in classes, jobs and cities. It is only a matter of time before they can contribute to the nation’s policy in other spheres. That moment should start now. “
