Nigeria, Boko Haram “ready to free half of the kidnapped girls”
LONDON – The Boko Harams would be ready to gradually release, in the coming days, part of the 200 girls kidnapped in exchange for some members of the Islamic terrorist group who are in Nigerian prisons, but not of senior commanders of the group. The British newspaper Daily Telegraph writes. If confirmed, the decision would constitute a significant “concession”, to which the Islamic group came following the realization that the release of high Islamist commanders would be politically impossible for the Nigerian government.
